Fall Series for Adults at St. Joseph Church
Something Old...Something New
What's all this talk about the new translation of the Mass?
You've heard it many times: On November 27th, things will sound different at Mass. The Mass will be the same, but the words we use to celebrate it will change.
So why do we say what we say during the liturgy? At times we come to Mass and recite our parts as if we're on autlopilot. But new words give us the opportunity to think more about what we are saying.
Come reacquaint yourself with the Mass. Learn about the new Roman Missal, and why the Mass is arranged the way it is. Identify and get ready for the differences in language that are coming our way.
MAKE THE MASS COME ALIVE
October, 11,25 and November 8,22. 7:30 pm in Bernard Hall.
Like the Growing Faith series we've held in the past, this adult education offering will enhance your spirituality. Join members of our liturgy committee in exploring the deeper meaning behind the words of the Mass. Come and learn how the new translation is even more closely linked to the Bible.
DON'T BE THE LAST TO KNOW!!
